This is the only photo in this series that I've doctored, because the background was dull anyway. I put the blurred Bollywood posters in (taken from a moving taxi in Bombay) to suggest the pervasiveness of movies in Indian culture, all the way down to Ali's Lion King t-shirt. Ali is my friend Sabrina's cousin, here having a "Thums Up" cola at his seventh birthday party in Hyderabad. Ali and his family live in Ooty, south of Hyderabad. |
