* "Strangers in the Night" became Sinatra's first #1 Billboard chart single since "Learnin' the Blues" in May of 1955 (even though the singer claimed he didn't like the song).  Sinatra reached #1 again in March of 1967 in a duet with his daughter Nancy on  "Somethin' Stupid."

The album, cut in two days to cash in on the success of the single, won a Grammy for Album of the Year, reached #1 on the charts and stayed there for 73 weeks.  Sinatra's only other #1 albums since the beginning of the LP era at Capitol in 1955 were Come Fly With Me and Only the Lonely, although Wee Small Hours, Songs for Swingin' Lovers, No One Cares, and the soundtrack to Pal Joey all reached #2.
