About the record:

This is the one.  If you possess only a single swingin' Sinatra disc, this is probably it.  And well it should be.  I never thought that old chestnut "You Make Me Feel So Young" could ever sound fresh and vigorous again, but Sinatra makes you forget it was ever a favorite of the Geritol set.  It's interesting that a lot of these songs were written between the turn of the century and the early 1930's -- Sinatra handles 'em with such ease and youthful virility that you'd think they were written in 1956 when the record was made.  Or, for that matter, today (if you could ever find this many brilliantly crafted, tuneful songs today).
