Big Ed's Gas Farm

Big Ed's 'll give you gas... Wooden Big Edd (left) looks rather like Paul Bunyon...

Big Edd's Family Dining, a rustic looking restaurant on the main drive of the town of Snoqualmie (population, 1370), is the apparent inspiration for Big Ed Hurley's gas station. A sign outside offer Twin Peaks burgers for $2.85. Another asks customers to "Please check your chainsaw in before entering." But the building that plays Big Ed's Gas Farm is easy to miss (if it's still there at all). It was a flag and windsock store called Windstreamer's on the  Preston-Fall City Road (not far from the Road House).
